Dune
is probably one of the most mind engulfing books ever written.
Frank Herbert created a complete universe in about 500 pages.
Please don't confuse the book with the David Lynch
movie
while for me, his movie really created 'the feel' of Dune, trying to cram most of two 500+ page books in one movie was kind of crazy!

Once you have read it, every so often you just have to read it again!
And no, the Fremen could not blow people up by chanting Muad-Dib's name.
